The Vinifera Forum 2018

The Vinifera Forum is a preparatory path leading up to the Market Exhibition of artisanal wines from the Alpine Arc. It includes tastings, thematic conferences, and guided tours of vineyards and wineries of the participating companies during the month preceding the event at Trento Fiere.

The Right Revolution: The Wines of Eredi Cobelli at Mal’Ombra

The Osteria della Mal’Ombra will host on Thursday, March 15, 2018, starting at 7 PM, a tasting of wines from the Eredi di Cobelli Aldo Farm (SORNI di Lavis). The evening will feature a guided tasting of four wines – “Gèss,” “Arlevo,” “Nosiol,” and “Gril.” The tasting will be led by Devis Cobelli, one of the three Cobelli brothers, who will guide us through the wines while sharing stories about the GESSO vein of Sorni, their production choices, the characteristics of the vintage, and the terroir that makes these great wines unique.

Sparkling Wines from Italian Grapes

“Bollicine da Uve Italiane” is the sparkling wine tasting from the Alpine Arc with which Vinifera kicks off the rich program of the Forum, culminating on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25 at TrentoFiere in the Hall of Alpine Artisanal Wines.

Starting at 6:30 PM, we will taste sparkling wines and other national effervescent specialties at the pouring station, with Italo Maffei, the curator of the Proposta Vini catalog, present to guide us.

Entrance and tasting are free with glass purchase.

A wine exhibition dedicated to Alpine winemakers. Indeed, Trentino was missing an exhibition focused on wine artisans! The Osteria del Pettirosso has also decided to participate, with a tasting dinner on March 22, hosted by Rudi Zeni, son of one of the most important winemakers in Trentino.
